Fencing Shoes
Most beginners are quite fine in using a good trainer or running shoe. However, due to the demands of footwork, both wear and discomfort can quickly set in using non-fencing specific shoes. Fencing shoes are designed for the piste, to accommodate the needs of the fencer’s foot and body in movement and to offset wear on sides and heels of the shoe. Once you are serious about fencing, shoes are a priority – your feet and pocketbook will thank you.
